Whoever said that wedding planning is fun, well they are just crazy.
There's so much to do, and well 25 more days to do it. But when I get home from work and I should probably do something, I just don't want to do it. It's almost as if planning a wedding over a year in advance is too much.
We have about 10 more RSVP's to get. The deadline was last week Friday. One month before the wedding, you would think people would be glad to plan that far in advance, but I guess not. I read on one of those wedding message boards that getting RSVP's back is like the sock fairy, you never know when you are going to get them.
Then the table's people will sit at. Oh god, that already has been awful.
Get the favors together whenever the candy gets here.
so much more and I think my mind is just fried from doing it all. I think after we get back, I'm going to take a class or do something for fun. Honestly I can't wait for it all to be over. Is that sad?

Wedding Woes
Getting married in two months. Okay, I know the days its 74 days. Let me tell you this when they tell you that it's all about the Bride and Groom, that statement is wrong. Everyone puts in their own two cents, and it's a long battle between food, cake, clothing. It's a crazy mess.
Sometimes I want to step back and be like really? we are fighting over a cake? really. This is insane. The whole wedding thing is so hyped up, and then you get to planning, because you saw the whole happy couple and you want that. Just to realize in the middle of planning.. you know they are happy because well the hell is over.
74 more days of planning. Is it worth it? Sure to marry my best friend in the whole wide world. But to invite 150 crazies to see it, no. Sorry family. Not. Worth. It.
I remember when my brother got married, he had two ceremonies. We spent the night at his soon to be in laws house, and forgot our pillows. So I had no pillow. So I asked him at his second day of wedding crap to get my pillow back. My parents were so angry that I dare bother my brother with something so little. Okay, sure it's a pillow, but I wanted it back and I didn't want to wait 1 month to get it back. Yes I had to wait a month for this damn pillow. But it was mine and had my head imprint on it. I was a bratty teenager. But I feel like in the whole wedding planning, everyone turns into a bratty teenager.
